Beckman or Beckmann , Katharina or Catherine b. 28 Feb 1873 died 27 Jan 1935 St. Joseph’s cemetery in Granville IA as listed in the Sioux County Iowa cemetery index.

Note: No obituary was readily found in the Sioux County newspapers on line.
A family history in the St. Joseph’s Church book gives an account of the family. John Beckman was born Jan 11, 1875 Iowa. John married Catherine Rolling. Catherine was born New Vienna, Iowa on Feb 28, 1873 and died on January 27, 1935. John died March 20, 1972. They had nine children – Lawrence 1902, Petronella 1904, Ray 1906, Henrietta 1907, Frank 1908, Elmer 1911, Marina 191, Clarnece 1916, and Frances 1908.

According to a family history on ancestry.com her parents may have been John Bernard Roling 1821- 1901 and Teresa Nelbukr 1840-1900
