Death: August 1, 1930Nicholas married Mary Jospehine Kass on June 16, 1891 in Remsen, Iowa. Nicholas and Mary are the parents of fourteen children. Twelve of their children are: Ida Marie, William Frank, Anna M.,Clarence Nicholas, Edgar J., Mary S., Rosalia Catherine, Blanche E., Omer F., Mildred, Colleen L., and Kenneth Gustave. His parents were Theodore and Mary A. Treinen Graff.
Nicholas was buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Granville, Sioux County, Iowa.
