Brinkmeier (aks Bringmeier) Wilhelm born 20 Jul 1839 died 28 Jul 1903 buried St. Paul’s Lutheran cemetery Hull IA.

Mr. Brinkmeier—an old settler of Sioux county—who went to the hospital at Sioux City to undergo an operation for cancer of the stomach died from the effects and the body was brought here for interment on Wednesday morning's train.

In the 1880 census of Lincoln Sioux IA found Wm Bringmeir age 38 born about 1842 Mecklenburg Germany married to Mary Bringmier born about 1848 Prussia wife and two daughers Minnie age 12 and Bertha age 8.
In the 1885 census of Lincoln tsp Sioux Co. William Bringmias (Bringmier) age 50 born Germany wife Mary Bringmias age 40 born Germany, Minnie M. age 16 born Germany, and Bertha C. age 13 born Germany.
In 1900 there was a Fred Brinkmeyer age 42 born 1858 Germany who may have been related to Wilhelm, he was a laborer, single man working for Fred Tigh.
Herman Brinkmeyer in 1895 was 38 yrs born Wisconsin living in LeMars IA.

There was a Bertha Bringmeier born Aug 1871 at Brandenburg Germany died 1944 Nebraska married to Willima Winch 1872-1950 They were married March 13, 1897 Sioux County IA. She may have been the daughter of Wilhelm Brinkmeyer.

In the 1900 census of Omadi Dakota Nebraska found William F. Winch 29 with wife Bertha L. Winch 29 daughter Catholine 10 mo. and living with them was William Bringmeier 59. He was born Jul 1840 Germany, widowed father in law of head of house immigration year 1870.

In the immigrations records found Frederick Brinkmeier born about 1838 arrived 1867 and Dorothea Brinkmeier born about 1842 arrived 1865
