Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Church of the Brethren northwest of Sheldon, for George Farquhar Brewster, 08 (80), who passed away about 2 o'clock Thursday Oct. 2, at the M. F. Miller residence where he and Mrs. Brewster had been living for some time. Rev. J. E. Rolston, pastor of the Brethren church, officiated at the services.

Note: from a family report on line George Farquhar Brewster was born 1 Apr 1873 Sioux County IA died 1941 Matlock IA, son of Lewis Brewster and Mary McGregor. His wife was Eliza Estelle Nichols born 1877. Children – Lee Brewster 1909, Lucille 1903, Lewis 1908 and Mildred.
