Mrs. Catherine Graff, nee Bunkers, passed away on Monday, September 20, at her home in Granville after an illness of two months.

Mrs. Graff was born October 10,1879, in eastern Iowa and came to the Granville community when a small child. She was married February 20, 1900, to John W. Graff, who preceded her in death on April 5, 1925. Mrs. Graff was 61 years, 11 months and 19 days old at the time of her passing.

Surviving are four sons and daughters namely: Joseph, Spirit Lake; Barbara (Mrs. J.S. Jacobs), Florence (Mrs. A.J. Miller), Milo, Gertrude (Mrs. R. Schilmoeller), all of Granville; Magnus, Hospers; Bernice (Mrs. E.J. Hassmann of Storm Lake); Otto and Charlotte (Mrs. Bert Ballard), all of Granville; her mother, Mrs. Barbara Bunkers of Granville; and three brothers; John Bunkers, Garretson, South Dakota; Anton Bunkers of Madison, Minnesota; Emil Bunkers, Dell Rapids, South Dakota; two sisters: Nora (Mrs. Joseph Bechman, Granville), and Edmunda, of Des Moines; and 21 grandchildren.

Solemn Requiem Mass will be sung this Thursday morning by the Reverend J.J. Dallen of Granville, with Msg. Schemmel of Remsen as deacon, Reverend Sylvester Grady of Schaller as sub-deacon and the Reverend Clemens Knobbe as master of ceremonies.

Mrs. Graff was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Joseph Church, of which she was devoted member. She was a loving wife and mother and a kind neighbor.

Serving as pall bearers at the services are Adolph Fisher, Arnold Nemers, Anton Hunt, Frank Beckmann, Jerome Grady and Jos. Blatt.
