Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church at Alton October 27 for Arlin Gene Goslinga, 22 of Alton, who died at the Orange City Hospital of a muscle disease.

Services were conducted by the Reverend John Maze and burial was made in Nassau Township Cemetery.

Arlin was born February 23, 1947, at Orange City. He attended Hospers Christian Schools and graduated from Floyd Valley High School in Alton. He was married March 29, 1965, to Mary Vrieze, and was employed as a draftsman at the Silent Sioux Corporation in Orange City. He was a trustee of the Alton Presbyterian Church.

Arlin was hospitalized for two months at Rochester, Minnesota, and at Orange City prior to his passing.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Gina, and son, Eric, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Goslinga of Orange City; a brother; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Goslinga of Hospers and Mr. and Mrs. William Van Gelder of Orange City.
