Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, May 18, in the American Reformed Church of Orange City for Thomas S. Geselschap, 66, who passed away May 15 in the Orange City Hospital.

Death was due to a malignancy.

He was born May 24, 1897, at Orange City. The departed was the son of Adoloph F. Geselschap and Clara De Groot-Geselschap.

He was married to Dena Van Oort on February 15, 1923.

Surviving are the widow, a daughter, Jean Irene (Mrs. Clifford Booth) of Cherokee; a son, Thomas Frederick Geselschap of Omaha, Nebraska, A son, Thomas Frederick, died July 30, 1925, in infancy. Also surviving are three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ben Kamperman of Sioux Center and Mrs. Florence Fox of Orange City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Lucy (Mrs. Otto Mouw), and a brother, William.

Reverend A. Hook and Reverend C. Brickwedel officiated at the funeral services.

Burial was made in the Orange City Cemetery under the direction of Van Etten Funeral Home.
