Word was received here of the death of Mrs. Henry Bowen of Sibley. Funeral services were held Monday and interment was made in the Ireton cemetery.

Mrs. Bowen of Sibley IA died at her home on Saturday morning. She was formerly a Doon resident and the community will greatly feel her loss.

Note: Minnie Bowen is listed in the Sioux County cemetery index as born 1867 died 1929 buried in St. John’s cemetery Ireton IA.
Marriage record states they were married 25 Dec 1883 Webster City IA. She was Minnie Adams 17 born 1866 daughter of Thomas Adams and Martha Bell. Henry was the son of Levi Bowen and Jane Passenger. Found that Henry Bowen was born Nov 1848 WI and Minnie was born Jan 1867 in Iowa, children were Maude and Lulu.
