Henry Zeutenhorst Dies at Maurice

Henry Zeutenhorst, a resident of Alton since 1932, died May 25th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Vander Weide of Maurice, where he and Mrs. Zeutenhost have been living for several months, due to his failing health.
Born at LeMars 86 years ago, Mr. Zeutenhorst farmed west of Sioux Center and in the Hull-Middleburg vicinity before moving to Alton. He was a resident of Sioux County for fifty years, since 1909. He married Jennie Haze at Sioux Center in 1910 and five children were born to the couple. All, together with the widow, survive.
The children are Daisy, Mrs. John Vander Weide of Maurice; Bernard of Alton; Edward of Rock Rapids; Irene, Mrs. Thys Kuitert of Grants Pass, Oregon; John of Orange City. There are 20 grandchilden and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 28 at the First Reformed church, of which he was a member. Rev. Ralph Meyer officiating, and interment in Nassau township cemetery.
