William Boelens born 7 January 1860 died 11 Dec 1914 buried St. Anthony Cemetery Hospers IA as listed in the Sioux County cemetery Index. In April and May of 1914 he is mentioned in the Alton Democrat as having undergone an operation.

No obit was readily available from the newspapers on line. A documented source on ancestry.com lists Wilhelmus B. K. Boelens as born 7 Jan 1860 Zuidhorn, Groningen, Netherlands died 11 Dec 1914 Hospers O’Brien county IA. He was married to Johanna Kruit 1873-1936.
