Old lady Mrs. Beukelman passed away last Tuesday afternoon, after a long and lingering illness. She is one of those who could relate about hardships sustained in pioneer life. After having resided here a few years she went with her husband and children to South' Dakota where she went through many trials. Then returning here she spent her last days quietly with her son. She is survived by two sons and four daughters. She was buried Friday from the Christian Reformed church. Rev. Van Der Ploeg speaking words of Comfort.
