Chas. Beckman of Iowa City was in Hull Saturday afternoon to attend the funeral of his cousin Wesley, Beckman of Sioux City.

Wesley Beckman, Former Hull Boy, Buried Here Sat.
The funeral of W. E. Beckman. forty-seven years old, of Sioux City, Iowa, a former Hull boy, was held here last Saturday afternoon in charge of the Masonic Lodge, Mr. G. S. De Mots officiating. Mr. Beckman died in a Sioux City hospital, following an operation for appendicitis, pall bearers here were: Warren Schar, Scott De Mots, Henry Daal, Dr. A. N. Overbaugh, Bert Vander Schaaf and J H. Anderson.

Mr. Beckman was born July 24 18S9, in Hall, Iowa, He resided here until 2S years ago when he went to
Chandler, Minnesota, and became a livestock dealer, working between that place and Sioux City. Three years ago be moved to Sioux City and engaged in the livestock business there Mr. Beckman. was a member of the First Christian church of Sioux City and of the Masonic Lodge at Lake Wilson MN.

Surviving are his widow. Mrs. Alice Beckman of Sioux City; two daughters , Mrs. Frances McGuire of Sioux Falls and Mrs. Orrie Graves of Chandler; a stepdaughter. Miss Mary Alice Haggard of Sioux City; his mother, Mrs. Mary Lickle of Salem, Oregon; six brother, Harry C. of Sioux City. Alfred P. of Inwood, Lester M. of Sioux City. C. O. of Melvin, Victor G of Salem and Fred C. of Raymond Washington and a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Siireves of Redford. Oregon.

Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, November 7, in the First Christian church of Sioux City, Rev. G. D. Serrill officiating.
