Born as RINTJE FOKKEMA.

Thursday afternoon at 2:30, Mr. Richard Foreman died at his home here at the age of 81 years.

He was born in the Netherlands where spent his boyhood years and grew to manhood. In the month of May, nearly 53 years ago Mr. Foreman was united in-marriage to Miss Winnie Pekel.

Two sons, Jake Foreman, Carnes, Mike Foreman, Alton; and one daughter, Mrs. Nic Holster, LeMars, with their mother, mourn the loss of a beloved husband and father.

The family came to America in the year 1883 and lived at LeMars, Seney, Newkirk and Hospers before they came to Orange City about 18 years ago.

He also leaves 8 grandchildren and two brothers, one brother in the Netherlands and Jake Foreman of Orange City.

For the past four years he had suffered from hearth trouble. A little more than a week ago, he was confined to bed.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Christian Reformed Church, of which he was a loyal and faithful member. Reverend N.J. Monsma officiating. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City, Sioux County, Iowa.
