From the Rock Valley Bee, April 8, 1921: Nearby News Notes:

George Tott was found dead in his bed at Orange City Wednesday morning. Indications were that he died of apoplexy only a short time before he was discovered. He was a tailor by trade. He was born in Germany some thirty years ago. He is survived by a brother in Sioux Center and one, Carl Tott, of Boyden. Mr. Tott was not married.

From the Boyden Reporter, March 31, 1921:

Death of George Tott.

Geo. Tott was found dead in bed early Wednesday morning. Indications were that he had died of apoplexy only a short time before it was discovered that he had expired. Deceased was born in Germany but came to this country in his youth and had lived in Orange City for upwards of thirty years. He was a tailor by trade.

Mr. Tott had never married. He is survived by two brothers, Herman of Sioux City and Carl of Boyden. Arrangements for funeral services have not been made at time of going to press.--Herald [Orange City].
