Mrs. R. Vos died at the age of eighty years at her home near Middleburg last week. She had been suffering with dropsy for the last few months. Funeral services were held in the Dutch Reformed church at Middleburg Wednesday. The remains were laid to rest in the Middleburg cemetery.

(Probate notice published in Sioux County Herald issue of 3 Oct 1912 lists her first name as Pietertje. In Sioux County cemetery index it is Peternelle.)
