Funeral services for Frank Feikema, 68, who was found dead, apparently from a heart attack at the Eldon Nilson farm about ten miles southwest of Hawarden where he had been shelling and elevating corn Thursday afternoon, were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Trinity Lutheran church, Reverend O.F. Pittack officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Dow Funeral Home.

Music was by the church choir with Mrs. R.C. Bunge as organist and Dr. Bunge as soloist. Casket bearers were Ivoran Noe, Jerry Wood, William Hill, Gerald Gant, Raymond Benson and Earl Newman.

Mr. Feikema was born in The Netherlands on May 4, 1897, and came to this country at the age of five. He married Florence Treiber at West Point, Nebraska, on November 24, 1933. A resident of Hawarden the greater part of his life, he operated a custom corn shelling and grinding business the last 20 years.

Mr. Feikema was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church here.

Survivors include the widow, Florence (Trieber) Feikema, three daughters, Miss Eleanor Feikema of Sioux City, Mrs. Duane (Carol) Aldrich of Hawarden and Mrs. Arden (Norma) Waag of Sioux Falls; a brother, Jake Manfred of Duluth, Minnesota; four sisters, Mrs. William (Sue) Kayser of Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs. Eugene (Catherine) Glew of Glendale, California, Miss Tillie Feikema of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. William (Alice) Obbink of Sioux Center, and three grandchildren.
