Mr. and Mrs. Norman Van Sloten became the parents of a three pound fourteen ounce son, Randy Dean on Sat. April 24th. The baby passed away Sunday, April 25th.

Graveside services were held Monday, April 26th at Boyden, in charge of Rev. M. L. Camp, Pastor of the United Presbyterian Church, under the arrangements by Vander Ploeg Funeral home of Sheldon.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Vern Reimers of Boyden and Mr and Mrs. Gerrit Van Sloten of Doon. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilts of Sheldon and Mr. and Mrs. John Van Sloten of Doon; and the great- great-grandmother is Wm. Wilts of Archer.
