Mrs. David Quarnstrom, 90, of Alcester died Sunday at an Alcester nursing home.

Services were at 10 A.M. Wednesday at Big Springs Baptist Church, rural Alcester, with the Reverend Ken Lewis officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden under the direction of the Wass Funeral Home of Alcester.

Mrs. Quarnstrom, the former Hannah Johnson, was born January 5, 1888, in Union County. She married Lars D. Ericson on June 20, 1906 in Big Springs. They lived in Sioux City for two years and then farmed in the Big Springs area from 1908 until his death.

She then moved to Hawarden and married Mr. Quarnstrom on November 8, 1945. They farmed west of Hudson until his death in 1955 when she moved to Hawarden. She had lived in Alcester for the past four years.

Survivors include three sons, Mylo, Amos and Ivan Ericson, all of Alcester; a daughter, Mrs. Blanche Steeneck of Alcester; three brothers, David and Robert Johnson, both of Alcester, and Andrew Johnson of Hawarden; four sisters, Mrs. Emily Johnson, Mrs. Clara Crabbe, and Mrs. Eleanor Johnson all of Alcester and Mrs. Dorothy Hope of Akron; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
