Death of Old Citizen
Fred Baack who lived in the edge of Sioux County, just north of Struble died at his home on Tuesday morning after a sickness of about a year's duration and the funeral will be held today at the church in Reading township. Deceased was the father of four children, two of them married and living in Sioux county and two married and living in Plymouth county. The daughters living in this county are Mrs. John Klohs residing west of Dalton and Mrs. Nic Ries living in Le Mars. The Ries family and the Klohs family went to the home of the deceased as soon as they were apprised of the death on Tuesday.

Fred Baack, one of the oldest residents of these parts, died at his home in Sioux county, a few miles north of Struble, on Tuesday, January 22. Mr. Baack had been in poor health for been time and his death was not entirely unexpected.
The deceased was the father of Mrs. Nic Ries, of this city and Mrs. John Klohs residing near Dalton. He also had two children married residing in Sioux county. The funeral was held yesterday and the remains interred in the Reading Township, Sioux county cemetery.
