Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Granville October 17, for Roman Budden, 49, of Granville, who died October 15 at his home in Granville following a brief illness.

Services were conducted by the Reverend John Schissel and burial was made in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mr. Budden was born September 7, 1921, at Granville. He was married to Bertille Plath, September 11, 1945, at Granville. He operated a gas tank-truck.

Survivors include the widow; five sons: Terry of Sheldon, Tom, Jim, Gerry, and Gary at home; five brothers: Edwin of Ashton, Reynold, Norbert and Emit of Granville and Albert of Chicago; four sisters, Mrs. John Posckes and Mrs. Art Werfinger, both of Remsen, Mrs. Al Pottabaum of Alton and Mrs. Leo Hemme of Grandville.
