Funeral services were held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Sheldon, Monday morning at 10:00 o’clock. Reverend J.J. Hyland officiating, for Miss Frances Bueltel, 79, who died Thursday in the Orange City Hospital where she had been a patient for nearly three weeks.

She was born November 12, 1895 at Granville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Bueltel, attended St. Joseph School, Granville, assisted her parents on the farm, and later became a seamstress. After the passing of her parents she moved in 1947 with her sisters in Sheldon where she lived until taken to the hospital.

Burial was in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Granville.

Surviving are 2 brothers, Emil Bueltel of Sheldon, Edmund of Granville, and 6 sisters: (Mildred) Mrs. Vincent Honkamp of Granville, Miss Emma Bueltel, (Marie) Mrs. Jack Baker of Sheldon, (Amella) Mrs. Tom Casey, (Helen) Mrs. Joe Novy, both of Omaha, and Sister Mary Lucina of Bancroft, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Alphonce, two sisters, Cordella and Regina.

Pallbearers were former neighbors of Granville, Leo Klein, Boyd Smid, Norbert Naber, Al Heying, Leo Kraus and Frank Bernard.
