Mrs. Evert Brunsting, 89, of Hawarden died March 6 at the Hawarden Nursing Home.

Funeral services were conducted at the Christian Reformed Church at Hawarden at 1:30 P.M. March 9 and burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

The former Jeanette Zorgdrager was born March 16, 1883, at Sheldon to John Zorgdrager and Nellie (Zwart) Zorgdrager.

She was married December 8, 1902 at Archer and the couple lived at Hull until moving to a farm in the Hawarden area in 1909.

They retired in 1940 and moved into Hawarden. Mr. Brunsting died June 18, 1968, at Hawarden.

Survivors include three sons, Albert and John, both of Hawarden and Edward of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Mrs. Richard J. (Nellie) Obbink of Hawarden; 20 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
