Mrs. Martha De Lint succumbs in Colo, rites held Wednesday

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. In the First Christian Reformed church on Wednesday, June 8, for Mrs, Martha De Lint, 79, who passed away Saturday, June 4 at Colorado Springs, Colo., at the home of her daughter where she had been making her home for the past several weeks. Death was due to coronary arteriosclerosis. Rev. R, Tjapkes officiated. Pallbearers were George Vande Kamp jr., Harold Kraai, Henry Hubers, Robert Dunlop, Lawrence Van Der Plas and Alfred Aalberts. Burial was made in the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.

Martha Rubbling was born at Greenbay, Wisconsin on November 8, 1887 and a daughter of Herman and Gertje (Smeenk) Hubbling. She married Cornelius De Lint on May 19, 1910 and the couple came to Orange City to make their home. Mr. De Lint passed away May 10, 1950.

Survivors are the four children, Mrs. Dick (Johanna) Jansen of Paramount, Calif., Mrs. Ted (Grace) Van Gronigen of Colorado Springs,Colo., Adrian of Lakewood, Calif., and Harry of Los Angeles, Calif. Seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; two brothers, William Hubbling of Hull and Dethmer Hubbling of Jasper, Minn., one sister, Mrs. Bert (Gertrude) Van Beek of Butterfield, Minn., also survive her. Preceding in death in addition to Mr. De Lint were a son in infancy, three brothers and two sisters.
