Mrs. Aart Bouw, 68 of Leota, Minnesota died Friday June 16 in the Doornink Hospital following a gall bladder operation.

She was born in the Netherlands and came to America in 1895. In the year 1897, Hendrine Beekman married Aart Bouw who preceded her in death in 1938.

Surviving are her four sons, Andrew, Albert and Edward of Luverne, Minnesota, and Henry of Sioux Center. There are two grandchildren. Surviving also are one brother, Arthur Bekman of Pella and one sister Mrs. G. De Boer of Alvord.

Funeral services were held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Van Grevenhof who were good friends of the departed, and in the First Christian Reformed Church Monday afternoon with Reverend Lysinga of Leota and Reverend R. Bronkema officiating. Interment was made in the Orange City Cemetery.
