V.C. Bunting Dead
A message was received here Sunday morning from Wanatchee Washington by friend of the V. C Bunting family, advising them of the death of V. C. Bunting which occurred Sunday morning.
Mr. Bunting was one of the pioneer settlers of Rock Valley, the family having moved away from this place last summer. They went to California and later to Wanatchee Washington. Mr. Bunting returned to Rock Valley last fall and spent a few says looing after business interests and they departed for his farm in North Dakota to look after some of his cattle that were sick with anthrax. It is reported here the Mr. Bunting contracted the disease which went through his system. He also had pneumonia last winter. A couple of weeks age he had to have one of his legs amputated, and it was reported that his condition was then very critical.
Mr. Bunting was well known in this vicinity on account of his long residence here. He was a man who was kind to his family and was well thought of by his neighbors.. Rock Valley friends of the family extend sincere sympathy to them in their great sorrow
