Services held for Henry Bos

Henry Bos, 86, died at the Heritage Home on December 8, after a long illness.

Services were held on Saturday, December 11, at the First Christian Reformed Church with Reverend Edward Blankespoor officiating. Pallbearers were Jim Koldhoven, Roger Mulder, Ron Koldhoven, William Van Meekeren, Dennis Bos and Dean Bos.

Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Wobbema. Burial at West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.

He was born February 7, 1885, in the Netherlands. He was married to Gertrude Bakker. He farmed in Sioux and Plymouth counties until 1948, when he moved to Orange City.

He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Joe (Nellie) Koldenhoven of Hollandale, Minnesota, Mrs. Gerrit Koldenhoven (Alice) of Sanborn, Mrs. Gerrit (Wilhelmina) Hartog of Artesia, California, Mrs. Richard (Christine) Koldenhoven of Alden, Iowa, Mrs. Cornie (Gertrude) Vande Brake of Hollandale, Minnesota, Mrs Gerald (Winnie) Mulder of LeMars, three sons, William of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Henry of Melvin, and Peter of Maurice, 43 grandchildren, and 85 great-grandchildren, three brothers Gerrit of Worthington, Minnesota, and William and Albert, both of the Netherlands.
