Mrs. James Boogerd passed away at her home Monday morning, June 3, 1935. At the time of her death she was sixty 65 years, one month and five days.

Mrs. Boogerd, nee Aggie Bouma was born in Menaldum, Friesland in 1800. She came with her parents to America in 1831 and lived in Cincinnati, Ohio. In the year of 1892 she was united in marriage to Mr. James Boogerd . In the spring of 1903, Mr. and Mrs. Boogerd, with their family moved to Perkins, Iowa, and in the fall of the same year moved to Hull.

To this union were born eight children of which two sons preceded her in death and six children survive. They are Mrs. Ben Vander Kooi of Hull; Mrs. J.H. TeKrony of Bemis, South Dakota; and Sidney, Bartel, Charles and Walter of Hull. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and one brother. Mr. Boogerd preceded his wife in death fifteen years ago.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday, June 5th, in the Christian Reformed Church, with Dr. R.L. Haan officiating, and burial was made in Hope Cemetery.
