Rebecca Leigh Bonnema was born on September 16 at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She died on October 2nd at the age of 16 days. Her parents, Gerv and Helen Bonnema and her sister, Sara, loved her and will miss her. We know that God accomplished His purpose in Becky’s life and ours in these few short days.

A sincere thank you to all of our relatives and friends for their thoughts and prayers, cards, bouquets, memorial gifts and food donations. A special thank you to Reverend Robert Van Hofwegen and Reverend Harold De Groot for their kindness and words of comfort. Your kindness and gifts of love are deeply appreciated and will always be remembered. We ask that you continue to pray for us as we share each others burdens.

On August 26th our daughter, Sara, age 2 ½, had heart surgery at Iowa City. We praise the Lord that her surgery was very successful. Once again we’d like to say thank you.
