Martin De Boer, 89, or Sheldon, died Feb. 22 in a George nursing home. Services were Thursday in the Andringa Funeral Home at Sheldon Burial was at Hospers. Mr. De Boer was born Nov. 29, 1887, at Hospers. He attended Floyd Township country school in Sioux County, and farmed. He was a member of the Reformed Church of Hospers.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Joe Boender of Hospers and Mrs. John Bolkema of Inwood and two
brothers, William of Sanborn and Clarence of Archer.
