Mrs. Edward Bolluyt passed away Sunday evening, Jan. 12 at 7:45 in her home in Orange City at the age of nearly 46 years. Her death was due to a liver ailment.

Mrs. Bolluyt was the former Suzie Bierma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William and Aaltje (Kolkema) Bierma and was born January 14, 1895 at Sioux Center.

On July, 30, 1918, she was united in marriage to Edward Bolluyt at Camp Dodge, Des Moines.

The couple lived, in Sioux Center until October 1, 1924 at which time they came to Orange City. They have lived here ever since.

In February, 1940 Mrs. Bolluyt became ill and she was very sick during the months of June and July but she rallied and enjoyed fair health until about a month ago she became sick again and gradually failed until the end came Sunday night.

Mrs. Bolluyt is survived by her husband, 1 son, Marion; 1 sister and 2 brothers, Mrs. Minnie Schut and Ben and John Bierma all of Sioux Center.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and at 2 o'clock in the American Reformed Church with Reverend Mr. L. Nattress officiating.

Burial was made in the Orange City cemetery.
