Mrs. Fred De Beer, 74, passed away at her home, Thursday evening at 9 o’clock. Surviving are her husband and four children; John of Orange City; Stella, Mrs. Tony Bomgaars of Newkirk Bertha, Mrs. Henry Jonker and Martha, Mrs. Jno. Schuller both of O. C. Also several grandchildren and 2 sisters living in the Netherlands. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the home of the departed and at the First Reformed church with Rev. H. Colenbrander officiating. Interment was made in the Orange City cemetery.

(According to a Bomgaars family history she was Agnes De Jong born 1878. Fred was born 18 Feb 1877. )
