Services to be held today for Mrs. A. De Bey
Funeral services for Mrs. A. De Bey who died at St. Louis, Missouri where she has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. George Dempsey, will be held on Thursday (today) at 1:30 p.m. from the American Reformed Church. Rev. Hook will be In charge of the church service with Rev. Henry Colenbrander assisting at the house service in the Pioneer Home. Burial will be made at the Orange
City Cemetery.

According to a family history done by the Dempsey family, she was Gertrude Johanna Bolks jul 26, 1869 Zeeland, Ottawa Co. MI-April 1961 Orange City Iowa. Her parents were Gerrit Bolks and Mathilda Buttenberg. She was the mother of five children; John Gerard, Cornelius, Marcia, Albert, Dirk Jan.
