August Dannenbring a prominent German farmer of Washington town, ship died last week while eating dinner from heart disease.

Diedrich Heinrich August Dannenbring was born 20 Aug 1854 at Linsburg, Nienburg, Niedersachsen, Germany. He was married 29 Apr 1884 at Guttenberg, Clayton Co. IA to Dorothea Christine Walter 1860-1928. His parents were Johann Heinrich Friedrich Wilhelm Dannenbring 1814-1879 and Catharine Maria Elisabeth Hofmeyer. The children consisted of baby b&d 1884, Martha 1886, August 1888, Anna 1890, Henry 1892, Fred 1894, Ernest 1897, John 1898, Elsie 1901 and Mary 1903.)
