Mrs. Fred Rothenbuehler passed away at her home three miles south of Hospers on Saturday September 23, 1911 of complication of ailments following childbirth a few weeks ago.

Deceased was born April 21, 1884 on the Haren’s homestead south of Hospers. October 11, 1910 Margaret Harens was united in marriage to Fred Rothenbuehler at Hospers Iowa. This union was blessed with one child, a boy, a tiny baby born but a few weeks ago. The funeral services were held Tuesday September 26th from St. Anthony's church at Hospers and were conducted by Rev. Father Dries. Interment was made in St. Anthony's cemetery at Hospers.

Death always brings grief and sadness but this death doubly so. Deceased had been married less than a year and besides the grief stricken husband a tiny little babe, Edwin, survives that can never know a mother. Deceased is also survived by her father Math Harens and the following brothers and sisters—Mrs. Justina Harens, Frank Harens and Charles Harens of Cogswell North Dakota, John Harens of Alexandria South Dakota, Mrs. J. P. Wiltgen of Alton and Mike, Nic and Anna at home. Peter Kramer of Lismore Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koob of Ionia Minnesota. Miss Lena Wagner of Alexandria South Dakota, Mrs. Margaret Steinfort of LeMars, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Konz of Alton, Mrs. Charles Schwinn of D.ubuque Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Hasse of Cleghorn Iowa, and Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Zanger of Marcus attended the funeral services.
