Henry R. Kuiper, 75 of Paullina died Sunday in a care center in Paullina.
Services were Wed. in the First Presbyterian Church in Paullina. Rev. Gregory Bock officiated. Burial was in Prairie Veiw Cemetery under direction of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home of Paullina.

Mr. Kuiper was born Jan. 8 1912 at Alton and attended Alton schools. On May 9, 1934, he married Irene Versteeg in Elk Point, S.D. The couple lived in Alton where he was employed by the Alton Rendering Service. They moved to Paullina in 1936 where he was employed of Alton Premium Feed CO. as a salesman, retiring in 1980. In Feb. 1987 he became a resident of Wide View Home in Paullina.
Mr. Kuiper was a member of First Presbyterian Church and had served as a deacon. He was a member of the Sioux City Consistory, Abu Bekr Shrine Temple and longtime member of Paullina Chamber of Commerce. He was a former member of the Paullina Town Council, Fire Department and Paullina Flying Club. He was a past master of Fulton Masonic Lodge of Paullina and currently was a member of Rising Star Masonic Lodge of Primghar.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Philip (Muriel) Simm of Paullina; a son, Gordon of Little Rock; a sister, Mrs. Bernice Huisman of Orange City; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
