Grace Gryzanoski 88, of Oranage City died Wed. March 5, 1997 at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in Le Mars, IA.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sat. at First Reformed Church in Orange City, with the Rev. David Sterk officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Van Etten-Oolman-Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Gryzanoski was born July 17, 1908 in Breda, The Netherlands, the daughter of Leonardes and Pietje (Bergman) Vryland. She was raised in The Netherlands.
She married Sebehrt Cornelius Haverhals on Sept.2, 1930, in The Netherlands. The couple came to the United States where they farmed between Hawarden and Lebanon, IA. He died Nov. 15, 1943 in Sioux County. She moved to Sioux Center, IA. In 1954 she moved to Grand Rapids, MI. and in 1960 to Artesia, CA.

She married Edward Gryzanoski on June 10, 1965 in Las Vegas. NEV. The couple made their home in Le Mars. He died Feb. 13, 1975, in Le Mars. She moved to Orange City. She became a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Jan. 1997.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church.

Survivors include three sons, Cornelius Richard Haverhals of Bakersfield, CA.; John Peter Haverhals and Anthony Marlow Haverhals both of Grand Rapids, MI.; a daughter Geraldine Wilma Haverhals of Omaha, NE.; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Leonard Gerald and Peter Adrian Haverhals; and a brother, Gerard Simon Vryland.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
