Services for Miss Alberta Cummings held
Funeral service for Mis3 Alberta Cummings, 82, who died in Chicago, Tuesday,, March 9, were held Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. in St Mary's Catholic church with Father R. W. Reinhart officiating.

Miss Cummings spent the early years of her life in Rock Valley. Following the death of her mother, Miss Cummings made her home with her grandmother in Bancroft. She graduated from St John's parochial high school in Bancroft and attended college at Sinsinawa Mound, Wis. Later she returned to Rock Valley To be with her father and after her father's death, she continued to make her home here until she was called to Chicago in February 1952 to be with her sister, Mrs. John Cavanaugh, who was ill.

Survivors are the sister of Chicago and numerous cousins. Pallbearers were Walter Mc Namara, Martin Cullinan, Lee Schlecty, H. J. Long, Emory Suter and Emmett Scanlan. Porter Funeral home conducted the services
