Thomas Isaac Cooper
Answers the Final Call Passed Away at His Home In this City Monday Morning

Mr. Thomas Isaac Cooper died at his home in day morning, The immediate cause of his death was an attack of pneumonia from which due to the feebleness of old age, he was unable to rally.

The deceased was born in London, England, May 15, 1832, so that at the time of his death was past 78. years of age. After coming to this country he located at Mount Ida, Wis., at which place he enrolled himself as a member of the Baptist church over 40 years ago. He was married to Miss Mary Goodrich at Mount Ida in 1862 and she still survives him. Eight children were born to them, seven of whom are still living, One son, George, died about six years ago, They came to Hawarden about ten years ago and have continued to make their home here. Mr. Cooper had made many friends here who will join with his wife and children in mourning his departure-from this life. The children are Mark Cooper, Chas. Cooper and Thos, Cooper of Hawarden, Mrs. Sadie Barnum of Hawarclen, Mrs. Grace Sloggett of Alcester and Mrs. Mary Morlan and Mrs. Nettie Luckey. The funeral was held from the Baptist church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Erb conducting the services, and interment was made in Grace Hill cemetery
