Mrs. Stella Cooper
Mrs. Charles Cooper, 93, of Hawarden died Friday at the Hawarden Hospital. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Associated Church. The Rev. Heston Milligan officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cooper, the former Stella Hout, was born June 18, 1885, in Pennsylvania. She was married Nov. 8, 1905, in Union County, SD. Mr. Cooper died in 1923. The couple farmed in Union County. She moved to Hawarden in 1926. She was a member of Associated Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Vivian) Millikan of Hamilton, Mo., and Mrs. Hazelle Talcott of Waco, Tex.; two sons, Charles of Hawarden and Clarence of Bend, Ore.; 23 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; nine greatgreat- grandchildren, and a halfbrother, Glenn Hout of Hemet, Calif.
