Paul Collenbaugh, 83, of Rock Valley died Wednesday, January 22, in a Sioux City hospital.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 25, in the Pioneer United Methodist Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. Ron Johnson officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery. Family visitation was in the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Collenbaugh was born May 9, 1902, in Doon. He attended school at Doon and Rock Rapids and graduated from Rock Valley High School. He married Josephine "Jo" Johnson July 1, 1926, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They made their home in Rock Valley where he was in partnership with his father until 1951 when he entered partnership with his son in the Collenbaugh Motor Co. In 1969 they discontinued selling cars and became Collenbaugh Auto Supply Store. Collenbaugh was a former member of the city council, Rotary Club and school board. He was a 71 year member of pioneer United Methodist Church and served on various committees of the church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John Paul of Rock Valley; four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
