Cynthia J. (Liston) McKee, 66, of Hawarden, died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Cynthia was born November 14, 1946 in Hawarden, Iowa, the daughter of Orlen and Tena (Jager) Liston. She attended school in Hawarden. Cynthia married Jim McKee, Sr. May 28, 1966 in Hawarden. Together they made their home in Hawarden where she was employed at Coilcraft for many years. She retired from Coilcraft due to her health. Cynthia later worked at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #1865 where she had been a member since 1975.

She was a fulltime grandmother, and loved playing cards, shooting pool, and bowling in her younger years.

Cynthia is survived by her two sons, Clint and wife Dawn and Jim and wife Annabel all of Hawarden; two brothers, Norman Liston and wife Karen of St. Paul, Minnesota and Dick Liston and wife Judy of Hawarden; two sisters, Myra Heuer and Neva Busch both of Rock Valley, Iowa; two sisters-in-law, Karen Liston of Texas and Diane Liston of Alcester, South Dakota; seven grandchildren, Ellyn, Dillon, Paige, Tyler, Tori, Josie, and Jayde; two great-grandchildren, Braelynn and Kinzie; and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; nine brothers, Lee, Lloyd, Daryl, Howard, Wesley, Duane, Lawrence, James, and Roger; three sisters, Vivian Finch, Betty Gronemeyer, and Darlene Rummel; and a daughter, Robin who died December 5, 2008.
