Clarence "Pete" Peters, 71, passed away July 14, 1994, at Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, AZ. He was born August 5, 1922, in Hawarden, and attended the Hawarden schools. Mr. Peters became a Los Angeles fire fighter and served the city of Los Angeles for 29 years. He also served in WW II as a paratrooper with the llth airborne.

Mr. Peters is survived by Carole Walker, constant companion for the last 11 years; his mother, Anna Brooks Peters, 101, of El Cajon, CA; his son, Dan Peters of Temecula, CA; two brothers, Morton Peters of Torrance, CA, and Carl Peters, of Pinole, Ca; one sister, Mary Peters Bunt of El Cajon, CA, and two granddaughters
