Johannes the sic year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Dirk Broek died at the home of his parents one mile south and two miles west of old Sioux Center on Saturday October first, the victim of the dread disease infantile paralysis. Funeral services were held Monday October third in the grove near the house and interment was made in Sioux Center cemetery. Rev. B. De Jonge pastor of the Second Reformed church conducted the service.
