On Monday morning the year old baby of Mr. and Mrs. T. Van Bruggen passed away. The little one suffered with convulsions for several hours before its death. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. Timmerman.

(The 1910 census of Sherman tap listed Tiete Van Bruggen 26, wife Jennie 22, Henry 1 yr and Arie 1 yr. From a report on Ancestry.com Henry lived until 1996 so it must have been Arie who died. Also this site related that his wife was Jantje Slickers 1887-1931, Tiete born 23 Jul 1884 Thesinge, Netherlands died 29 Aug 1854 Ireton, IA.)
