Wilbert E. "Whip" Kamstra, 57, of Ontario, CA, formerly of Ireton, died Wednesday, December 28,1988 in California from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Services were held in California.

Mr. Kamstra was born January 18, 1931 at Ireton to John and Emma (DeJager) Kamstra. He served with the U.S. Army. He married Madalene Van Leeuwen June 1,1955 in California. He owned and operated a dairy farm in Ontario for many years. He was a member of Ontario Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John, of Ontario; three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Judy) DeVries of Ontario, Mrs. Jack (Jean) DeVries of Orland Park, IL; 'and Mrs. John (Wanda) DeVries of Chino, CA; his mother, Mrs. John (Emma) Kamstra of Orange City; two sisters, Mrs. pave (Leona) Otten of Hawarden and Mrs. John (Jean) Goslinga Jr. of Sheldon; three brothers, William "Bill" Of Sanborn, Tunis of Quincy WA and Pete of Orange City; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother-in-law, Dave Otten.
