Catherine "Bea" Morris, 66, of Geneva, IL, passed away Monday, June 6,1988 at her home. She was born
November 4, 1921 in Hawarden, the youngest daughter of Will and Anna Burke. She was a graduate of Hawarden High School in 1939 and attended Wayne State College in Wayne, NE. On February 26, 1944, she married J. Roger Mortis in Ft. Pierce, FL. Mrs. Morris worked at Pheasant Run Lodge, St. Charles for 13 years, prior to her retirement in 1981. She had been a Geneva resident for the past 36 years and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Geneva.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, J. Roger Morris; four sons, Bill Morris Of Chicago, Pat Morris of Waukegan, Tim Morris of Waukegan and Kelly Morris of Bollingbrook; one daughter, Mrs. Matt (Molly) Brady of Waukegan; nine grandchildren, Pat, Tina, Danielle, Colleen, Jennifer, Paddy, Shawn and Ryan Morris and Joe Brady and one sister, Mrs. Jim (Dorothy) Smith of St. Charles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Anna Burke; three brothers,.;Clifford, Tom and Jack Burke.

Services were Thursday, June 9,1988. at 10:30 a.m. from the Malone Funeral Home, Geneva to St. Peter's Catholic Church, Geneva for 11 a.m. mass. Father James W. McLoughlin officiated. Burial took place at Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva Township.
