Hold Last Rites Wednesday For Mrs. E. Bakker

Services for Mrs. Eilert Bakker were held Wednesday, April 12, at 1:15 p.m. in the home and at 2:00 p.m. in the Christian Reformed church. Dr. H. Kuiper officiated at the services.
Burial was made in the Valley View cemetery.

Mrs. Bakker was born in the Netherlands in 1867. She was united in marriage to Eilert in that country and came to the United States in 1910. Eight daughters and three sons were born to this union. Her husband and one daughter preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bakker passed away at her home northeast of Rock Valley at the age of 83 years and three
months, on Saturday, April 8 after an illness of several weeks.

She leaves to mourn her passing seven daughters, three sons, 34 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
