Mrs. Alice (Pocklington) Rose, 80, of Los Angeles, CA. died in the general hospital in that city Thursday July 17, 1952.
Alice Pocklington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pocklington, was born Jan. 6, 1872 in Minnesota. She grew up in Hawarden and was married to Harry Rose here. After her marriage she continued to live here but went to CA. many years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Blanche Hagler, who lives in Montana; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Tanner of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Bertha Leveiller of Sioux City, and three brothers, Bert of Hawarden, Oliver of Los Angeles and Walter of Onamaia, MN.
Her last visit in Hawarden was three years ago.
