Viola Kersbergen, 78, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, died Thursday, July 7, 1994, at her home.

Services were held Monday in St. Therese Catholic Church, Sioux Falls, with interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rock Valley.

Viola Klein was born September 10, 1915, in Rock Valley. On November 18, 1939, she married Melvin Kersbergen in Alvord. He died November 11, 1973. She was employed for more than 20 years as a cook at Little Flower School in Sioux Falls.

Survivors include three sisters, Verna Jantzen and Sylvia Hubers, both of Rock Rapids, and Eleanor Nelson of DeSmet, South Dakota.
