Funeral services were held Friday April 17, 1970 at the First Christian Reformed Church in Hull, IA, for James Jansma, 47, Doon, IA. who passed away at his home Tues. April 14. He was the son of Teunis and Jane (Van Dyke) Jansma of Hull.

The Rev. Willard De Vries officiated. Interment was in Hope Cemetery under the direction of the Kraai Funeral Home.

James married Willma Vander Werff on June 30, 1944.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma, Daughter, Mrs. Rick (Delores) Vande Berg, Orange City; son, James Jr, serving in Viet Nam; four brothers, Dick and Walter, Rock Rapids; Tunis, Hudson, S.D.; and Floyd, Hull; one sister, Mrs. Ernest (Dorothy) De Groot, Chino, CA; and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
